MNR Founding Partners Reeves W. Mahoney and Andrew T. Richmond along with Associate Attorneys L. Ashley Brooks and Nicole M. Thurston have made it onto the list, Brooks and Thurston for the first time.

“We are excited to be named to the 2019 Top Lawyers list, but we are especially proud to have Nicole Thurston and Ashley Brooks receive this honor for the first time in their careers,” Mr. Mahoney said. “All of the attorneys at MNR Law work hard all year for our clients, shepherding them with compassion through divorce and other family law related cases. We appreciate being recognized by our peers for our hard work and dedication to the people we serve every day.”

Coastal Virginia Magazine and CoVaBIZ use DataJoe Research to facilitate a peer-to-peer voting process. DataJoe sends out multiple emails to all the lawyers in its database, inviting them to vote using an online ballot. Each lawyer can vote for up to three lawyers in each category over roughly six weeks in the summer. DataJoe reviews and processes each ballot individually checking for patterns or signs of inconsistencies.

The “Top Lawyers” list for Hampton Roads will be published in the upcoming CoVaBIZ December/January 2019 issue and in Coastal Virginia Magazine’s January/February 2019 issue.
