MNR Law Founding Partner Shantell S. Nashatka Names New Paralegal – Ashley South is Ready for the Job
Mahoney Nashatka Richmond, PLLC is proud to announce that founding partner Shantell S. Nashatka has named Ashley South as her new paralegal. Ashley replaces Caren Dikun, Nashatka’s paralegal for over 12 years, who moved to Georgia for her husband’s job with the U.S. Navy.
“Ashley has a passion for helping MNR’s family law clients achieve the most optimal outcome in their cases,” Ms. Nashatka said. As my legal assistant since May 2017, and as a paralegal who had worked in trusts and estates before coming to our firm, Ashley proved she was an ideal candidate for the position. A bonus for me is she also has an undergraduate’s degree in English. I look forward to working closely with Ashley in her new position.”
Ashley is a native of Virginia Beach and a graduate of First Colonial High School. She attended the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, where she majored in English.
Ashley started to work at law firms after college graduation. She has over 11 years of legal experience in two states: Virginia and California. Her experience before MNR was in the estate planning and administration field. Ashley enjoys family law immensely. In her new position, Ashley looks forward to communicating more in-depth with MNR’s clients and delving into case law.
Ashley‘s husband is in the U.S. Navy. The couple recently moved back to Virginia Beach from Monterey, Calif. Ashley enjoys traveling, Zumba, the beach, running and especially spending time with her husband and dog, Montee.
Mahoney Nashatka Richmond, PLLC opened the doors to its boutique-style law firm in January 2016. MNR’s four attorneys exclusively practice family law, which includes pre-marital and marital agreements, divorce, custody, visitation, non-parent rights, spousal and child support issues, and adoption.
